William Boughton gives hands on conducting technique to Jr. Board members during the 2009-2010 season. Do you know a high school student interested in classical music? Tell them about the NHSO Jr. Board! During the 2011-2012 season they'll receive experiences that will last a lifetime! Jr. Board members not only attend NHSO concerts (while earning hours toward their scholastic community service requirements) but also have unique opportunities they could get nowhere else. This year’s activities include a conducting Master Class with Music Director William Boughton; a chance to meet renowned composer Christopher Theofanidis and discuss his work at an NHSO rehearsal; and delve into a famous classical performance DVD at Movie Night with the Maestro.
